Information Report NRL

NRL started in 1998, but it was first called ARL which stands for Australian Rugby League and NRL stands for National Rugby League. ARL started in 1902, so it was called ARL for 96 years.

NRL was first called Australian Rugby League at one time for about a season Super League and finally, it has been called National Rugby League. There are 16 teams in National Rugby League in 2013.

The teams are Sea Eagles, Broncos, Bulldogs, Cowboys, Dragons, Eels, Knights, Panthers, Rabbitohs, Raiders, Roosters, Sharks, Storm, Warriors, Titans and last but not least Tigers.

I think National Rugby League is a terrific sport. When I grow up I will really want to play NRL for the Sea Eagles. If you are going to play NRL when you grow up, good luck!

Why You Should Go To Bali For A Holiday?

I believe you should go to Bali for a holiday because you can learn a new language. There are many tourist attractions and you can celebrate many things in many places at Bali.

Firstly, you should go to Bali because you can learn new languages. You can learn to speak Balinese. You also can learn about another culture.

Next, you should go to Bali because there are many tourists’ attractions such as Monkey Forest, traditional temples, giant mountains, volcanoes and zoos. If you go to Bali you can discover new places, places we don’t have in Australia.

Finally, if you go to Bali you can celebrate in many places. You can celebrate at the beaches, at your hotel, on the street and in nightclubs. Bali is a great place to celebrate because they have many festivals different to Australia.

To conclude, I believe Bali is a great place to go to for a holiday. Although there have been bad things in Bali in the past, the dangers of visiting Bali can be minimised. If you go to Bali and act safely it will be as safe as being in your own home. So I suggest Bali to you and your family. I hope you enjoy it.

Mollie's We Have All Been There

Today I am going to tell what the future Dad should do so he does not go the bad way and what will happen if he chooses to go the good way.

First of all if he steals the money in the film scene and then the car bad things can happen in his future. For example, when his wife has the baby he will miss the birth. Also he might set a bad example to his child.

Taking the money from the lady would be a bad choice. If he does take the money he would probably feel guilty. He would not be able to give it back because she would have already gone.

If he did not take the money he could be able to get an honest job and earn money by working honestly. Then he will be able to see his children and he will not have to eat prison food and be in gaol.

So I hope he doesn't take the money from the lady and goes the good way. If he is honest he will have a good, loving, happy, caring and generous family.

Why do we play games?

I think we play games to learn how to live better. A game is played with rules, goals and consequences. There are different rewards in a game like if you are playing a 'Building Cities' game you do tasks to achieve your goals such as earn money, a new tower unlocked, more xp for building your level ups and new upgraded parts.

Bonding
Firstly, in some games you can play in multiplayer mode. You can play this with a minimum of people from your family, relatives and friends. Such fun can make you more happy and can help you to bond with your family and friends throughout the game.

Teams games
Secondly, there are many games that involve teamwork. When you play a teamwork game with your relatives there is a sudden feeling of belonging to that team. Whether it's a competitive sport or a puzzle it is easier to play with more people because you have more ideas about ways to play with a team.

The skills
Thirdly, though there are not a lot of strategies in computer games, except for puzzle games, there is in Minecraft chances to be creative as you earn 'energy' to build towers, hotels, temples and houses which means you would have to plan the hotel and how to make it AMAZING!

To conclude games are played by all types of people because as we play them we enjoy practising and preparing for life.

Thank you for reading my persuasive writing  I hope you are convinced to play more games.

Why we should play games.

I think we play games because playing games is vital to learning how to live better.

A game is played with rules, goals and consequences. There are different rewards in a game, like if you are playing a building cities game you do tasks to achieve goals such as make more money, build a new tower, unlock more xp for building up your levels and new upgraded parts.

Firstly, in some games you can play multiplayer. You can play this with a minimum of people from your family, relatives and friends, this can make you happier and bond with your family and friends through out the game.

Secondly, there are many games that involve teamwork. When you play a teamwork game with your relatives there is a sudden feeling of belonging to that team. Competitive sport or puzzles are easier to play with more people because you have more ideas playing as a team.

Thirdly, there are not a lot of strategies in computer games except for puzzle games. There is in Minecraft certain skill practise provided, such as if you go on the creative mode you have all the energy to build towers, hotels, temples and houses which means you would have to plan the hotel and how to make it AMAZING! Everybody dreams of the most provided there are those above you also have items to make that come true to your abilities in anyway possible, which is often a bit like life.

To conclude games are played by all types of people because as we play them we enjoy practising and preparing for life.

Thank you for reading my opinion.

We've all been there.

My persuasive response to the gentleman in the scene where he thinks for a moment about stealing from the lady after he fixes her flat tyre.
In the 'Tropfest' short film: "We've all been there.

How would you feel, if because of your parents, your future would be wrecked. If you steal the money then you will ruin your child’s future because they wont have a father to look up to. Think about the consequences the cause and affect.

Every boy needs a father growing up, because a woman will need lots of help with a growing family,  even if she can do it, she’ll have difficulty being a mentor for the boy-to-man growth of her son. If your child will be a boy he will need you by his side all through his life. Your wife would be alone and struggling to raise a baby as well as work and that’s very tough for a single mother. Her present work hardly pays her bills and from the film I know you’re still looking for work, traveling kilometres to see if anyone is willing to offer some pay to a desperate future father in need!

The worst thing a father can do, is leave their child before they're even born. Wouldn't you feel guilty? And all because of a small mistake. If your father left you before you were born would you ever want to see him again? This mistake could be your ticket to jail and thousands of dollars to the police for theft and perhaps because your truck broke down you may have stolen her car with her in it … kidnap!

After every mistake or temptation there's a 'light at the end of the tunnel' because you CAN find work and your wife CAN deliver a healthy baby even if you don't have money. If you don’t know what ’light at the end of the tunnel’ means then allow me to inform you: when you mess up you can get back on your feet and forgive yourself, but in this case it’s not that easy. A mistake like this could take years to forgive yourself and that’s not even mentioning your wife and the effects it may have had on her life.

If you take the money there will never be a reward, unless of course you want it to be hearing something like this, 'Congratulations you have finally made it to jail!' No, your reward, if you don't take the money is you will see your child, boy or girl, growing up. That’s the best stage of your life because you get to know how your child as he or she grows up.

Seriously dude, I highly recommend you make the right decision because when it comes to delivery time you won't be there if you choose wrong.

Summer please doesn’t go!!

Friday, March 15th 2013
Summer is the warmest season of the year, in the Northern hemisphere from June to August and in the Southern hemisphere it is from December to February.
Summer is the warmest of the seasons lying between Spring and Autumn.
At the Summer solstice the days are longer and the nights are shorter and here I am in Sydney with Summer on my mind.
There are four seasons. Autumn apparently is the most popular, but if you want a positive: “Yes.” You’ll get it for Summer.
Summer is so good and there is also good ways to PARTY!
For example, you can visit the zoo. It is full of interesting animals like tigers and antelopes.
·     Book or paper
·     Pencil and rubber
·     Black pen and coloring pencils
·     Laptop and your hands (all the times)

Instructions
To start off you can choose an animal in the zoo that you would like to draw, research and raise money for. You can go and sit and draw as you research finding out as much as possible while you write what they are doing. You can research such topics as food, habitat, lifestyle and birth and go back to that animal and see if anything has changed.
Secondly, you can go to the park have fun. Here’s a recipe for a picnic:
·       430ml (1 3/4 cups) fresh orange juice
·       430g (2 cups) caster sugar
·       Melted butter, to grease
·       250g unsalted butter, at room temperature
·       2 tsp. finely grated orange rind
·       4 eggs, separated
·       185g (1 cup) fine semolina
·       150g (1 cup) plain flour
·       3/4 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
·       260g (1 cup) Greek-style natural yoghurt

Method
Step 1
Stir orange juice and 215g (1 cup) of the sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the syrup thickens. Set aside to cool.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 170°C. Lightly grease a 10x 20cm (base measurement) loaf pan with melted butter. Use an electric beater to beat butter, remaining sugar and orange rind in a small bowl until pale and creamy. Add egg yolks, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Transfer to a large bowl. Sift over the semolina, flour and bicarbonate of soda. Add the yoghurt and stir until well combined.
Step 3
Use a clean electric beater to beat the egg whites in a large clean, dry bowl until firm peaks form. Fold one-third of the egg white into the semolina mixture. Gently fold in remaining egg white until combined. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Smooth the surface. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Step 4
Use a skewer to prick the top of the hot cake all over. Pour the syrup over the cake and set aside to cool.
Hope you enjoy that recipe
A good game you could play is tug-a-war. I hope you have a fun time at the park.

Thirdly, be kind and 'fill a bucket' go to an elderly persons facility and share with them a talent.
